Drawing Hope

Drawing Hope is a charitable organization that – through art – serves survivors of abuse and other life struggles. Drawing Hope helps survivors connect with their own strength, see their beauty and embrace their freedom.

Drawing Hope is the organization behind a number of David’s projects: Points with Purpose (PWP), Freedom Woman, and the portfolio of charitable works David has been creating over the last decade as a Celebrity Artist. These projects have a number of things in common. They all aim to raise awareness of globally relevant issues; educate about topics that are not easy to talk about; inspire people to help each other to survive, heal and live well; and motivate action that – on a global scale – will create change.

In his work at Drawing Hope, David not only creates the artwork, he also envisions new ways to understand people’s life experiences, architects supportive communities, conceptualizes educational approaches and speaks at conferences.

Please visit drawinghope.org for more information and to learn about the ways you can help.

Just Yell Fire

The Just Yell Fire™ message is that girls and young women have the right to live their lives without fear of assault or abduction. The Just Yell Fire™ mission is to put predators out of business.

Since 2006 Just Yell Fire™ has empowered more than 1 million girls in 52 countries but they are far from done. They give girls get-away skills, teach them their rights, and with your help they will continue to work to eliminate sexual assault and abduction in this generation and generations to come.

Please visit justyellfire.org for more information and learn ways you can help this incredible organization.

Rally for Kids with Cancer

The thought of children suffering from cancer is simply an unacceptable reality. It is this reality that drives the Rally for Kids with Cancer organizers, their fundraising stars – the drivers, sponsors and charitable celebrities to unite and make a difference, one child at a time.

Please visit rallyforkids.com for more information and learn about ways you can help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Team True Beauty

With Team True Beauty Shantel hopes to continue to help those struggling feel supported and to spread the message that “what matters is what’s in your heart, what your goals are and what kind of life you want to lead.” The One Tree Hill star believes if we all unite with one another, we can all make a difference in each other’s lives. “ The more support someone has and is surrounded by, when they struggle, the better. No one is alone; it has affected every generation and it’s time for all of us to stand together.”

Please visit teamtruebeauty.weebly.com for more information and to find out how you can get involved. Don’t forget to read Shantel’s interview, live chat and newsletter contributions while you’re there.
